Parish Feast Day Celebration: Sept 29
Have you ever heard of Michaelmas? On the 29th of September, the Church celebrates the feast of the Archangels Raphael, Gabriel, and Michael. For centuries, this holy day was called Michaelmas (mick-el-mess), the day the faithful went to Saint Michael’s Mass.
Celebrate our parish’s feast day with a celebration on Sept 29! A special 6 PM Mass at the church will lead into a light meal with “Michaelmas” traditions in the Parish Hall, a St. Michael altar, and a bonfire to celebrate St. Michael sending the devil into the fires of Hell.
