The Parish Office will be closed tomorrow, Friday, September 30 to mark the

National Day for Truth & Reconciliation.

Father Colin will be away next week so there will be no 9 am or 7 pm evening Masses from October 4 to October 7. The 9 am morning mass will resume on Saturday, October 8th.

EVERY VOLUNTEER, in every ministry, including coordinators are required to please complete a volunteer registration form.

Knights of Columbus

Coats for Kids

The Knights of Columbus will be displaying winter coats as part of their annual "Coats for Kids ' program after all masses the weekend of October 8 & 9.

The coats are donated to the Women in Need Society & are distributed at no charge to children in need. The Knights will graciously accept the donation of loonies or toonies to help support the purchase of additional coats.

The first Friday of every month there is a children's adoration hour from 10 to 11 am. This is a guided hour for children of all ages & all are welcome.

End of Summer BBQ

The Knights of Columbus invite you to their End of Summer BBQ. Come enjoy a burger, smokie or a hotdog, all the fixings & cake. The Knights will be accepting donations with proceeds going to support the Council 7432’s charitable giving.

Annual Winter Clothing Drive

Saturday, October 15

8 am to 4 pm in the St. Francis Room

Donations of winter type clothes for men, women & children are urgently needed for the Calgary Drop In Centre. They are looking for gently used clothes of the following type: casual pants, jeans, cords, jogging pants, winter jackets, gloves, scarves, sweaters, plain T shirts, toques, running shoes, winter boots, new socks - (the warmer the better), long johns, towels, new underwear (both women’s & men’s) as well as new towels & backpacks.

Members of St. Vincent and the Knights will be on hand to accept your clothing donations. Please check your closets & bring down some warm clothes for the less fortunate in our community.

This years collection will go to the Calgary Drop In Centre where they will be distributed free of charge to the city's homeless.

Learning Preschool

They currently have space in their afternoon program that runs Monday to Friday from 12:30-2:55pm.

This program is free & is specifically targeted to children with little or no English language skills. The children do not need to be Catholic even though the program is offered at a Calgary Catholic School.
