HABITAT FOR HUMANITY: The Faith in Action Committee for Habitat is again having its Pumpkin Patch fundraiser next to Hillier Funeral Home on 29th Street from Sept. 26 through October. Lots of help selling pumpkins is needed! Go to habitatbcs.org and click on “Get Involved” (on a phone, click on the menu icon first), then “Events,” then “Pumpkin Patch.” Scroll down to the Faith in Action Pumpkin Patch and click on the “ Volunteer” button to sign up for 1 or more shifts. Experienced volunteers can select the “Shift Leader” slots; anyone can select a “Volunteers” slot. AQUINASFEST: You’re invited to AquinasFest at our sister parish, St. Thomas Catholic Church here in College Station! AquinasFest begins with Bingo on Friday, September 23 at 6 p.m. On Sunday, September 25 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., there will be a barbecue brisket and chicken meal, hamburgers, hotdogs, inflatables, indoor & outdoor games, a live and silent auction, cake walk, country kitchen, petting zoo, pony rides and more!
