We hope that every one of our family members will make an effort to be at church tomorrow for High Attendance Day. We have over 150 active participants at Full Throttle Biker Church Pleasant Garden. Our best Sunday since Covid has been 110 and our record attendance going back to the community center was 168. Let’s get back there!
Do numbers matter? They don’t matter as long as God’s work is being done and souls are being saved. Yes..we are trying to reach the one.
However,
Are the numbers an indicator of your church’s progress? Absolutely!! Are we reaching out and inviting others? Is the ministry making an impact on souls? Are people being blessed? Are people coming and staying? If not…why not?
High Attendence Sunday is more than just trying to get everyone here at the same time. Over the next few months you’ll be hearing and receiving surveys by Flocknote and by mail. 1) Our goal is to get everyone’s information updated in the system. You can edit your information in our database by going to the computer near the sound booth or by seeing Ms. Helen. 2) We would like to see the demographics of our church as it relates to travel time and number of visits (we know this is a factor) 3) We would like to coordinate our outreach better by utilizing our core group.
Honestly folks, we cannot be an idle church. We can’t be a complacent church. In this time we are living we need to decide if we are just followers of the church, or followers of Jesus. A good pastor teaches his church to be grounded in the Gospel and followers of “the way”. Not just church goers that have not had an impactful, memorable, life-changing encounter with Jesus. And as you have heard me say before, I’m learning and growing. I want to be the under-shepherd that pleases God and grows the Kindom. Because that’s what it’s all about.
Don’t forget we have a guest speaker tomorrow sharing his testimony and Forgiven Sons is celebrating their anniversary with free hot dogs after church. We hope that you can make it out.
In His Grip,
Randy
