The Feast of St. Francis of Assisi is October 4. We will be having a special Blessing of the Pets on Sunday, October 2 at 3PM by the Mary Statue.

If you forgot to turn in your commitment card last weekend, please place it in the second collection basket this week. Susan Fister invites you every Friday at 3pm to come to the CD room of the church to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Susan is bilingual and will be happy to pray with anyone in our community. Any questions or prayer intentions are referred to sgfister@gmail.com. May we see Jesus in each other.
New Hearing Assistance Option
In the next few weeks, we will be rolling out a new way to get hearing assistance in the church over your phone (using a connected hearing aid and/or using your own headphones).

In response to the needs of our parishioners, we are restarting the Sunday 5:30pm with a youth and young adult focus. People of all ages are welcome to attend. Learn more and offer to volunteer in liturgical ministries at www.mqhr.org/530
Adult Formation on Sunday mornings is held in the ELC Media center (also known as the school library) to coincide with the children's formation class time at 9:15-10:30am. All adults are invited!

Under the direction of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director provides leadership, ensures fiscal responsibility, develops and administers programs, and represents the agency in accordance with its values and mission. The Director is responsible for the management, facilitation, and operations of all programs and services provided by the organization. Current programs include Bridging the Gap (rent/utility assistance), emergency/disaster assistance and recovery, and other services. All funds given to the Diocesan Annual Appeal are crucial to provide support for:
• Charitable outreach in the forms of food, clothing, counseling and emergency assistance in Eastern and Central Kentucky
• Formation of a new generation of Priests and permanent deacons
• Sustaining parishes including parishes with missions in remote parts of the diocese
• Educating students in our Catholic schools
• Programs and ministries that are beyond the resources of any one individual parish that are shepherded by the Chancery office
