The funeral arrangements for our Pastor Emeritus, Father Ed Kordas, who died on Sunday, September 25, are as follows . . .
- The wake will begin at 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 29 in the church with Vespers. The wake will continue in the church until 8:00 pm. Bishop Martin Amos, Retired Bishop of Davenport, Iowa and a classmate of Father Ed, will be the presider and Father Ryan Cubera will be the homilist.
- The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, September 30 in the church. Bishop Michael Woost, Auxiliary Bishop of Cleveland, will be the main celebrant and Father Damian Ference will be the homilist.
- Burial will be at Markille-Saint Mary Cemetery.
May Father Ed, and all the faithful departed, rest in God’s eternal embrace.
Eucharistic Adoration on Thursday, September 29 is CANCELLED. All meetings and events scheduled here at the parish from Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon with the exception of Preschool are cancelled. Any questions, please call the parish office at 330.653.8118 ext. 221.
