What is Spiritual Adoption?
From CPCL: "The Spiritual Adoption Program is a parish-wide prayer opportunity that brings individuals and families of all ages together to pray for the unborn and their mothers. Not all babies make it to birth. Many parents tragically experience the loss of a child to miscarriage, abortion, or premature birth. These are the babies the parishioners are being asked to “adopt” simply by praying for them each day. It is suggested that the parishioner name the child for whom they will be praying. This will remind them that although they may never meet the child in this life, they truly are praying for a specific child who needs their prayers. A child and family that God will direct the prayers towards, and one that they may well meet in the next life."
We need volunteers on Oct 1 & 2 after Masses to help
participants fill out their spiritual adoption cards.
