ST. VINCENT de PAUL NEWS
St. Vincent de Paul would like to thank our many financial supporters who have given so loyally to our Conference over these past few years. You have been the angels that kept us going during very challenging times. As we come out of the pandemic and the moratoriums for rent and utilities expire, we are seeing an uptick in the number of people needing help in these areas. Jesus said “Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of my brethren, you did it to me”. Thank you for allowing us to continue this work on the behalf of the Our Lady of Grace community.
If you know someone in our community that could use help, or if you are interested in knowing more about this ministry – please call our SVdP line at 510-581-2164 and someone will get back to you.
Though Fall has only just begun, our St. Vincent de Paul Conference is already looking ahead to Winter. Our homeless ministry is always in need of socks. So–October will be sock collection month. Our main need is for men’s black athletic type socks. We will have a collection barrel at the Somerset entrance of the church and in the Parish Office.
