Spotlight on Made for More
Saint Ann is co-sponsoring Made for More, an evening of visual beauty, live music, and reflection with Christopher West from the Theology of the Body Institute. This event aims to open your senses to the secret of God revealed in all of creation and orient your whole life toward the satisfaction of your deepest longings. This event will likely be at capacity early, so buy your tickets now! October 27th, 7:00 - 9:30, Cathedral of the Incarnation. Tickets will also be available to purchase after Masses this weekend or in the church office.

Family Faith Formation Opportunities
Our Diocese is getting ready to launch the National Eucharistic Revival here with the Eucharistic Revival Conference scheduled for next month. Begin considering how you can launch the Eucharistic Revival in your own domestic church! Dr. Zachary Keith writes for the National Eucharistic Revival about how families can better engage children in the Mass, and how churches can be more welcoming to young families and children. Loyola Press has free resources for a Mass Bingo game you can use at home to better help children understand the Mass, as well as Eucharistic Adoration Cards to help guide children through Adoration. Sunday School of Religion Faith Formation Program
Our next all-family Faith Formation meeting will be Sunday, November 6th. WE are planning on All Saints Day pageant for our students and families! We accept rolling registrations throughout the year. Learn more and register by clicking here.
We continue to have copies of Magnifikid available on Sundays and major feasts and holy days. They are placed near the bulletins for children to grab as they come into Mass. Each copy of Magnifikid includes all the readings and prayers of the Sunday Mass with explanations of the difficult words and the meaning of the rituals; a suggested prayer for Morning and Evening; many suggestions on how to live the entire week with the Lord; various games, a comic, and activities to help children learn about Christian life and culture; and a page intended for the parents with suggestions for family prayers. MagnifiKid is for children between the ages of 6 and 12. We hope that this addition will help to engage your children in the Mass and continue your Sunday worship experience throughout the week!
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
We have had several weekly meetings with a new cohort of inquirers to the faith. We welcome unbaptized inquirers, Christians who were baptized into another denomination, baptized Catholics who have not been fully initiated, and fully initiated Catholics who want to learn more and/or support others on their faith journey.

Saint Ann Youth Ministry
Join us on October 16th at 12:15 PM for our regularly scheduled Youth Group meeting. We'll have prayer in the chapel, lunch in the gym, and other activities! We are also excited to help with the Annual Trunk or Treat later this month! Stay tuned for more information.
RSVP for the monthly altar server workshop! Due to Halloween, this month's Altar Server Training will be held on October 24th, the fourth Sunday of the month, instead of the last. New and returning servers are asked to attend. Altar serving is open to rising 5th graders and older.
Diocese SEARCH Retreat dates (2022: Nov. 11-13, Dec. 2-4; 2023: Mar. 24-26, April 28-30), at Camp Marymount. SEARCH is an experience in encountering Jesus Christ, which will assist teens in living a Christian life as they enter into young adulthood. SEARCH is open to all Juniors and Seniors in High School. Registration: https://soundscatholic.com/searcher. The next registration will open on July 1, 2022.
The Diocese is planning to go to World Youth Day in Lisbon, Portugal for two weeks in July and August 2023. The cost is approximately $4300 per person. If you are interested in more information, you can contact Mandi in the church office at mandi@stannnash.org.
Prayer Ministry
In addition to our bulletin and online prayer lists, we also send out periodic (usually weekly) requests for prayer to our Prayer Warriors' inboxes. There is no commitment to be a prayer warrior, except to open your emails and say a quick prayer for those on the list. A prayer is even included so that Prayer Warriors can pray as soon as receiving the email. Submit your prayer requests to mandi@stannnash.org.
