Dear Monsignor/Father,

News reports have made it clear that relief assistance is greatly needed for those parts of the Caribbean and Florida that were impacted directly by Hurricanes Fiona and Ian. Catholic Charities and Catholic Relief Services are on site assisting families with essential needs and are relying on Disaster Relief Funding through the USCCB.

If your parish would like to take up a special collection for relief efforts on either of the next two weekends, please remit as soon as possible to the Diocesan Finance Office (note: Hurricane Ian Collection) as we will arrange for timely transfer of collected funds through the USCCB to appropriate relief efforts. 

Please also let parishioners know that  we have a Hurricane Relief Donation page on our diocesan website, https://worcesterdiocese.org/hurricane-relief, if people would like to make a credit card donation.
