As you know the fall 40 Days for Life Campaign is underway. Assumption’s adopted day is Saturday, November 5^th. 

There are a couple of things that are different from previous campaigns. First of all, I have decided to use Flocknotes for both communicating with you and for signups. You can access the online signup like you did in the past. You open Assumption’s website, put your cursor over Parish Life. A drop down list appears. The last item in the list is 40 Days for Life. Click on 40 Days for Life. 

The Flocknotes signup has a completely different look than the Google signup sheet that we used in the past. With Flocknotes you cannot see who else has signed up. I know some of you like to see who else has signed up for a variety of reasons. To help alleviate this problem, I have attached the signup sheet that shows who has signed up and their signup time. So far 19 people have signed up to stand vigil on November 5^th. 

The other change is that we are standing vigil from 10 am to 4 pm. Coalition Life is having difficulty getting churches and other organizations to adopt a day. Shorting the vigil hours has helped alleviate this problem somewhat. Since we have fewer hours to cover I am hoping we can get at least 7 or 8 prayer volunteers for each hour.
