Fall Party at Pax Christi
7-9 pm | Thu Oct 20, 2022
High school students are invited to the Pax Christi Youth Center and back yard for the second annual Fall Party. We'll have pumpkins for carving, games, snacks, Flapdoodles ice cream, an open youth center, and if the weather is nice a bonfire going outside.
Waypoints High School Retreat
Oct 28-Oct 30 | Ironwood Springs
High school students, especially those preparing for Confirmation, are invited to our new high school retreat. Friends are welcome! Register by Oct 20.
Location: Ironwood Springs, Stewartville
When: 7 pm Oct 28-11:45 am Oct 30
Cost: $100 (assistance available)
Wednesday Night Adoration
6-8 pm | In the Church
All parishioners, especially parents who have students in Wednesday night small groups, are invited to pray in the Church on Wednesdays.
The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed following Mass and our priests will lead Benediction and Reposition at 8.
Come for all or part of the 2 hours.
We are taking a break from small groups this week for the MEA break.
Sunday Small Groups won't meet again until Nov 6.
Wednesday Small Groups will be back next week on Oct 26.

Trunk-or-Treat at Pax Christi

We know middle and high school students might be a little old for a trunk-or-treat, but it would be great if you and/or your family dropped by to be candy/treat providers. Bonus points for decorated vehicles/trunks!
Confirmation Students you can count this as a service hour too!

Discipleship Guides - Waypoints Pax Christi Youth Ministry
In ancient Jewish tradition, a disciple was like an apprentice. A student who displayed a deep desire for God and for the faith would be chosen by a rabbi to become his disciple. When inviting a student to become a disciple a rabbi would say, "Lek hackeri,” which means, "Come, follow me."
Discipleship models the mission and actions of Jesus Christ in the Gospels. Jesus chose to reach the entire world by entering into a personal relationship with each of his disciples. More specifically, he formed deep relationships with twelve, and the deepest of all with three: Peter, James, and John.
One-on-one mentoring (discipleship) with one of our Discipleship Guides at Pax Christi extends the same invitation and utilizes Jesus’ approach with any teen seeking to develop and grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Friendsgiving at St. Pius X

Bring your friends to Friendsgiving. We'll have food, drinks, and games down in Founders Hall. All 7th-12th graders are welcome to attend.
