New Mass Times. Just a reminder that the new Mass times are 7 am, 9 am and 11 am on Sunday, as well as the 5 pm Masses on Saturday and Sunday. The new schedule begins this weekend.
Divine Mercy Sunday. There will be a Divine Mercy Service this Sunday, April 8th from 3:00- 4:00 pm at Our Lady of Fatima Church. There will be private Confessions, Scripture Readings, Reflections, the Divine Mercy Litany, the sung Chaplet, and Benediction. Our new first-class relic of St. Faustina will also be present at this service. All are welcome.
Perpetual Adoration. There is no better way to spend time than with the Lord in Adoration. Our Adoration Chapel is perpetual only because of the dedicated adorers who keep vigil. Please consider signing up to be a regular or substitute Adorer through Pentecost 2019. It takes all of us to keep our Perpetual Adoration Chapel open. Signup at
Adoration Signup or at
www.FatimaLakewood.com/Adoration. We are also looking to form teams to cover a couple of the open overnight slots. If you would be willing to cover one of these slots once every 8-12 weeks, please email us at
olfadoration@gmail.com.
All Men of Our Lady of Fatima are invited to meet for our monthly

A few of the many other things going on in our parish this month:
Easter Food Box Ministry
We had amazing weather for Break Back weekend and hope everyone recovered. Thank you for volunteering your time for the Easter Food Box Ministry. We collected around 755 boxes for 364 families that we support. If the average box is about 25 pounds, we collected 18,775 pounds of food. As always, this takes an army of volunteers and it is amazing to see everyone helping and supporting this ministry. This would not have been possible without you.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion Mandation Training
Deacon Rich will be conducting EMHC mandation training on Saturday, April 28, from 2 to 4 pm, for those who wish to become Extraordinary Ministers. Contact Deacon Rich with any questions.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat Helpers. Thank you for putting your faith and love into action by supporting our recent Habitat build at Sheridan Square. Through your prayers, your work on the build, and your financial support, our partner family Dismas, Beatrice, and their three boys, are settling into the peace, comfort, and safety of their new three-bedroom home. We are so grateful for your continued support of this life-changing ministry! Please visit the outreach ministry page on the parish website for pictures and ways to get involved.
New Parishioners Ministry!
Our goal is to personally reach out to new parishioners and make them feel welcome and loved at Our Lady of Fatima. We are planning on doing this by looking for a team of volunteers to meet one on one with a new parishioner. On average, a volunteer would meet with a new parishioner once every two months. This would entail calling/emailing the new parishioner, meeting with them one on one at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, and showing Christ’s love to them by creating friendships with them. Fatima Mass Greeters
Would you like to become a Greeter for weekend Mass? We invite you to sign up and try it out! We especially need Greeters for Saturday 5 pm and Sunday 5 pm Masses. Being a Greeter is simple! We arrive 15-20 min. early to Mass and station ourselves at an exterior door of the church. As people arrive, we offer a friendly hello and open the door. If you are feeling a nudge from the Holy Spirit, email Elisa Foster or signup today online at
SignUpGenius. To see a greeter in action, click
here. Thank you for prayerfully considering to help welcome the Lord’s flock to the Supper of the Lamb!
OLF Coed Recreational Softball Team
We are trying to determine if there is sufficient interest to try to field a very recreational coed softball team this summer and/or fall. There is no obligation at this point, but if you think you might possibly be interested, please send an email to fatimasoftball@jekada.com. Details will follow if there is enough potential interest to pursue it further.
Our Lady of Fatima School
Our Lady of Fatima School is pleased to announce the addition of a second Kindergarten class for the 2018-19 school year! We are also registering new families with students in Grades 4-8, as well as Kindergarten. Registration packets are available in the school office. Please contact the office to set up a tour.
Please join us for dinner at White Fence Farm (6263 W. Jewell Ave.) on Thursday, April 12 from 4:30-8:00 p.m. The restaurant will donate a percentage of all Fatima receipts to the school. Thank you for supporting your parish school.
This year's Catholic Schools' Art Fair is being held at All Souls Catholic School on April 13-15. Opening night is Friday from 5:30-9pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10-4.
We are looking to communicate better with the men of our parish. Men, please add yourselves to the Men of Our Lady of Fatima FlockNote group by clicking here

Knights of Columbus
The next Knights of Columbus Pancake (and Pierogis, Kielbasa and Sauerkraut in honor of St. Faustina, St John Paul the Great and St Maximilian Kolbe) breakfast will be April 15th after the Sunday 7:00 and 9:00 am Masses. We would like to thank everyone who came to the Pancake Breakfast on March 25th. We were able to raise $408.00 for the order’s Christian Refugee Relief Fund. As a reminder the Knights of Columbus Pancake breakfasts are donation only and helps us to financially support various activities and programs throughout the year. The net proceeds from this month’s breakfast will be donated to Our Lady of Fatma’s Habitat for Humanity effort. Come join us for some pancakes and help build a home.
The Knights are always looking for quality men who wish to be better fathers, husbands, and Catholics to join our family-oriented council. Consider coming to a social meeting on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7 pm, or talk to a Knight at the pancake breakfast, or join the Knights' FlockNote group at
Knights. They can also be reached at
