FIRST READING: Wisdom 11:22-12:2 RESPONSORIAL PSALM: Psalm 145: 1-2, 8-9, 10-11, 13, 14

1) Have you ever desired to see something so much that you've gone to ridiculous lengths to get there? Perhaps a concert or show? How does this help you relate to Zacchaeus climbing a tree to see Jesus?
2) Think of a known sinner in the world who blatantly disregards the gospel. What would you do if Jesus told you he was going to that person's home to share a meal? Would you be jealous? Angry? Confused?
3) Have you ever sought out the company of someone who has wronged you, seeking reconciliation? Would you ever consider instead of seeking an apology, asking to go over to the person's home for a meal?
4) "Before the Lord the whole universe is as a grain from a balance / or a drop of morning dew come down upon the earth." How does this make you feel? Is it comforting or discouraging?
