Halloween Party Details
This Sunday is the Halloween party at Valley Lanes! If your child(ren) is/are participating, I would encourage you to arrive 10-15 minutes early so they can get their shoes and ball. Our lanes will open right at 6:00!
Each student will receive $15 on a play card for the various attractions. Students have the ability to add extra cash to their cards if they wish, but we will also have other activities that they can do as well.
Please plan on coming into the bowling alley to pick up your child(ren) at 8:00, and please let me know when you are leaving with them. :)
Treasure Box Activity
If you're following along with the short activities that your family can do together with the items from the scavenger hunt, here's the next activity:
Reconciliation: The Act of Contrition is our formal prayer that we pray when we ask God for forgiveness and ask Him to help us not to sin anymore. There are times when we need the grace of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. It feels good to say our sins out loud and to hear the priest tell us that God truly does forgive us. As a family make a plan for going to Reconciliation by the end of the year. Advent would be a great time for it! :)
Middle School After-School Program
The Middle School after-school program (otherwise known as Reach Out) will now be meeting on Fridays! This is a service-based program where we will complete various service projects for the parish and for organizations in our community.
