The Conference for disciples, stewards, evangelists and catechists is Saturday, April 21st, at Church of the Magdalen.
Bishop Kemme will celebrate a special Mass at 9:00 AM
Curtis Martin is the keynote speaker – he is the founder and CEO of FOCUS. Fellowship of Catholic University Students. There are over 600 missionaries serving in colleges around the country and over 24,000 alumni! Curtis will help us understand or remind us that our relationship with Jesus is the most important relationship that we have.
Fr. Jarrod Lies, pastor of St. Francis of Assisi parish will share what it means to be a Christian disciple.
After lunch we will have the opportunity to ask questions of our panel that includes: Curtis, Fr. Jarrod, Fr. John Jirak, pastor of Church of the Magdalen, Anthony Keiser, Director of the Office of Faith Formation and others.
The conference will close with Adoration with Wichita Adores Ministries. We will experience the Eucharistic heart of Jesus in a new way. It is a beautiful experience.
This conference will help us to deepen our faith, learn how to encounter or reencounter Jesus and how to share this encounter with our families, parish family and community.
