National Vocations Awareness Week
This week, we look at the variety of vocations including the vocation to the priesthood. EWTN News In Depth focused on this during the first 21 minutes of their show on Friday. Below is the video. My seminary classmate, Fr. Keith Chylinski, was interviewed. He studied psychology and counseling after we were ordained. He's now the rector of our seminary, St. Charles Borromeo Seminary.
I invite all unmarried young men to ask the Lord if He's calling you to the priesthood. I invite all of us to consider if there's a young man we know who might be called to the priesthood. And I invite all of us to help young men listen to the voice of the Good Shepherd.
