The little blue books for Advent are in the back of each parish site. These are free and offer a daily reflection and some interesting stories and facts. Pick yours up while supplies last.
Save the date:
Thanksgiving Day Mass will be on Thursday, November 24 at 8 am at Saint Wenceslaus.
Between now and then, start a gratitude journal and reflect on three blessings from that day and write them down. Increase your attitude of gratitude!
You have a choice this Advent: Get caught up in the annual rush of shopping, decorating, and parties or slow down and take a few minutes each day to remember who this season is really about—Jesus.
Advent begins Sunday, November 27. Get your book in the back of church while supplies last. Join a group or study on your own. Make YOUR Advent a blessing this year.
New Prague will be hosting its annual parade of lights on December 2. Here at Saint Wenceslaus, we will be offering a Live Nativity (and free food) prior to the parade. Be sure to stop by and check it out ... and use this link to be part of the event.
We want YOU!

We held a Synod. What's next?
After three years of listening, preparation and engagement with laity, consecrated women and men, and clergy across the archdiocese, Archbishop Hebda will release his pastoral letter on the weekend of the Feast of Christ the King, November 19-20. This pastoral letter will outline his vision and Synod Priorities for our local church, informed through feedback from the Synod process.
