Dear Friend,
This past week, our nation went to the polls to elect leadership for local, state, and federal positions. We pray for God's wisdom to guide all those who were elected. May they may lead with integrity and foster respect for all, especially the most vulnerable.
As the vote count continues for races that are too close to call, may patience be our nation's practice, honoring all the election judges and workers who labor to ensure the system works.
In all circumstances, whether family or social, church or civic, we are called to be channels of peace. The Prayer of Saint Francis (make me a channel of your peace...) has the most importance in challenging times. May it always be with us in our hearts.

Family Mass is Next Sunday
The next Family Mass at Saint Andrew Parish will be Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the 9:00am Mass. Students will lead us in the reading of God's word, our school choir will sing, and Fr. Sergio will have a homily especially for children (although adults get a lot of out of it too). After the Masses' conclusion, everyone is invited to join us for coffee and donuts in the gymnasium and to help set up the annual Giving Tree by cutting ornaments for the tree.
Blood Drive - Be a Hero!
The Knights of Columbus, and Vitalant (formerly LifeSource), will be holding a Blood Drive on Sunday December 4, 2022 in the Social Center/Chapel. Donation times will be available starting at 9:00am until 2:00pm Sunday. Sign-up sheets will be available after all the masses in the back of church starting the weekend of Nov 19/20. Please stop by our table and sign up to be a hero
Book and Bake Sale in the Gym
The annual Book and Bake sale is this Sunday, November 13 from 8:00am to 1:00pm p.m. The Saint Andrew gym will be transformed into a lively bookstore and pop-up bakery. Hundreds of gently used books will be available for sale. Come find books to keep you and your family entertained and enjoy some delicious baked goods.
Thanksgiving Day Mass
Before the relatives or friends come over and before the football games entertain, there will be a Mass on the day of our national celebration of Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 24, 2022 at 9:00am. Come join us in the church to give thanks for all we have been given.
