Spring, Seder, and Special Somethings
Dear Parishioners,
ICC doesn't need a Vernal Equinox to tell us when Spring is here. We can tell because the snow in our parking lot has finally melted!
The A & R Communion Brunch and CYO Players and Coaches Award Ceremony is this Sunday, the Fifth Grade Family Mass is next Sunday, the Seventh Grade Family Mass is the Sunday after that, and our Second Graders are three weeks away from receiving First Holy Communion!

Seder Summary
Sixty Parishioners attended the Passover Seder on Holy Wednesday, and it was a really wonderful conduit to Holy Thursday. Rabbi Jay Stein did a phenomenal, heart warming and light-hearted job of explaining the meaning, symbolism and traditions behind the Seder, particularly as it pertains to us as Christians. In fact, he did such a great job we are planning on doing it again next year.
Special thanks go to Ira and Renee Schwidel, Maria Amelia Bazdekis and Marylou Banino, for their contributions to the evening. Ira and Renee, better known as our Sharing Community Coordinators, purchased, schlepped, quartered and served all the roast chicken for our meal, and put together the Haggadah for the dinner. No matter how hard they try, they are somehow always involved with chicken! Look for more about them, and the Sharing Community, in this week's bulletin. Until next year... L'Chaim!
Spring Fling
Keep your eyes peeled this weekend for our BIG SPRING FLING MAIL-ING! This year's event will take place on Saturday, May 12, from 6-9 PM, at 25 Matthiessen Park.
We will have many of the same things you've grown to know and love about it, including the Cash Raffle, Silent Auctions, Hors D'Ouevres, wine, beer and soft drinks, dessert and coffee... but this year we are adding a little extra Latin Flair to it. Look for our Signature Drink and a Wine Pull! Don't know what that is? Come find out!
Tickets will be on sale after Mass this weekend, and at the Rectory and Irvington Hardware.
