This Sunday’s black bag collection is for the Social Concerns People in Crisis Fund. Thanks to you, we are able to respond to our neighbors-in-need, who come to us with emergency requests totaling more than $10,000 each month.

BRAIN-BASED PARENTING
SLCS invites you to Brain-Based Parenting Tools, a free workshop in the School Dining Hall at 6pm tonight. Dr. Crystal Collier will address how substances, food addiction and technology overuse affect healthy brain development in children, with suggestions for avoiding such risky behaviors.

This Thursday, at 6pm in the parish hall, the Catholic Daughters will host their annual Potluck Dinner & Bunco Meeting, open to all ladies of the parish. The cost is just $5, plus your favorite dish to share. These are the same ladies who put on the great Fall Bake Sale, coming up November 20.

Join Fr. Drew in welcoming our Fort Bend neighbors to St. Laurence for the annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service, Monday, November 21, 7-8pm, in the church. Light refreshments will follow in the parish hall.
