Good afternoon to all on this Veteran's Day. Today we celebrate all US military veterans and thank them for their service to our nation, and so we pray:
Father, bless our veterans and all who serve our nation defending our freedom.
For those who bravely gave their lives, grant them eternal rest.
For those who are serving, give them courage.
For those who served, we offer our gratitude.
We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

This weekend we celebrate with Ni & Tint Lwin as they celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary with a special blessing at our 4pm Mass. May God continue to shower them with his abundant blessings! We will also offer a special blessing for our Veterans at all masses this weekend.

Our second collection this weekend supports the education and formation of Seminarians in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Thank you for your generous support of our future priests.
This is our month to provide casseroles for the guests at Our Daily Bread. Pans and recipes are available in the church vestibule. Store bought lasagna or mac' and cheese casseroles are also accepted. Please deliver your frozen casserole to the parish office by Wednesday morning (11/16).
Chances for our Basket Raffle are on sale now after Masses, by mail order, and online. Winners will be drawn at our Christmas Open House on the weekend of December 17th/18th. Thank you to all those who joined us for our Italian Dinner Feast Day celebration last weekend. A wonderful time was had by all! A special “thank you” to Bob Sears and Pete Backe for organizing the event, and to all the sous chefs and bottle washers who assisted in the kitchen. We could not have done it without you! We also extend our thanks to the folks at St. Gabriel for welcoming us so graciously onto their campus. If you were not able to join us this time, we hope to see you at our next event.

We kindly ask that you refrain from placing any religious items, pamphlets, advertisements, etc. on the tables in the church vestibule. If you have something you would like to share with the community, please drop it off at the parish office (M-F, 9am-3pm). We will see that the items or materials find the proper home. Old issues of The Word Among Us or Today’s Missal may be placed in recycling—they do not need to be returned to the church. Thank you!
