We will be hosting a Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday, December 3, from 9 am to 3 pm in Parish Hall and Gathering Area. Many items will be available such as homemade decorations, wreaths, artisan jewelry and rosaries, crafts, gifts, raffles, treats, and much, much more!
The Church teaches us that the Eucharist is the "source and summit" of Christian life. It is the sign and source of our oneness...our unifier! In about 155 AD, Justin Martyr wrote a
document that is still a good outline of how we celebrate the Mass today. Saint Justin also clearly explained that the "food and drink" received at Mass were not ordinary food and drink but the very Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
For 2000 years we have continued to gather together to celebrate the Mass much like the early church did. As Vatican II emphasized, we are called not only to gather at Mass each week but to participate in it. The more we learn about the Mass, the more our hearts are opened to participate in this greatest prayer of the Church.
Earlier this month, Father Stephen provided instruction on the Mass. If you weren't able to attend but would like to watch his catechesis on the Mass,

Over the next three years during the Eucharistic Revival, we will continue to give great attention to learning more about gift of the Eucharist, so get ready for your heart to grow more and more in love with our Lord and Savior, friend and brother, Jesus Christ!
EUCHARISTIC PILGRIMAGE SITE FOR NOVEMBER - SAINT MARY PARISH, HUNTINGTON
Saint Mary Parish features a remarkable Eucharistic image – a stain glass window depicting Saint John the Apostle giving the Eucharist to the Blessed Mother. It is a beautiful image of Mary’s humility and love. Even though she was the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, carried Him in her womb, and gave birth to Him, she humbly awaits to receive Jesus sacramentally in the Eucharist.
When we receive the Eucharist at Mass, we too become living Tabernacles, Holy Temples of the Lord, just like Mary when she carried Christ in her womb.

This Sunday, November 20, we celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe (also known as Christ the King Sunday). On this last Sunday of the liturgical year, we reflect on the reality that Christ is OUR king. He is the king of our family life and sexual life, professional life, personal life...the king of everything! Check out the powerful video below to learn more.
