Start the Advent season with a spiritual recharge of your faith life by hearing some meditations on Hope through the lens of our Blessed Mother. This retreat will be led by Fr. Luke Buckles, O.P. A continental breakfast with coffee and juices will be offered after Mass and between 30-minute conferences. Time for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and opportunities for confession will also be available.

Fr. Luke Buckles, O.P., is a member of the Western Dominican Province, and after writing his dissertation on that great Dominican mystic, St. Catherine of Siena, he has taught at the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology, Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans, and for 17 years in Rome.
On Sunday, December 4, 2022, join us for an Outdoor Mass (weather permitting), followed with an Advent Fair and BBQ.

Through the Magnificat, Mary declares the greatness of God, expresses her delight in our Lord, and rejoices in being chosen to give birth to the promised Messiah. Here at Saint Robert’s Church, Magnificat is also the title of our annual Advent Concert. Started in 2021, this performance features a special collection of songs and carols that will help us prepare our hearts for the journey of Advent into Christmas. Join us and members of our growing Music Ministry: the Exultate Adult Choir, our newly formed Youth Choir, the Holy Spirit Music Ministry, and special guest musicians.

One winning art piece from each age category will be selected for exhibition in Fra Angelico Society’s 1/14/23 “God’s Time” art show taking place St. Dominic’s parish in San Francisco. Fra Angelico Society (FAS) is the Catholic visual artists apostolate of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in San Francisco.
