On Thanksgiving Day, only one Mass will be celebrated, at 9 am in the church. The parish offices are closed Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, to allow clergy and staff time to celebrate with family.
ADVENT IS COMING
It’s the First Sunday of Advent and a new liturgical year. We’ve listed Advent resources on our website and encourage you to take a 2023 Sunday Missal, available in the narthex. (Thanks for leaving a small donation to help cover the cost.)
Back on the plaza this week is the Wish Upon A Star tag line. Now is your chance to fulfill a specific Christmas wish for a child or senior in need. Just pick a star to purchase a gift or donate online. Thank you!
The Hispanic Ministry is planning a 2-day celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe, with Mass & reception on Sunday (Dec 11), and Las Mananitas & Mexican breakfast on Monday (Dec 12). They are our Ministry Highlight, so you can meet members at the Hospitality Desk after Mass.
It’s an Advent Adventure with a Nativity Play, prayer and potluck meal with other families on Friday, December 2, from 6:30-8:00pm. Bring a side dish or dessert to share and RSVP by November 30 for this popular Family Gather Night.
HEART OF WORSHIP
Registration for Heart of Worship opens next Thursday, December 1. We do expect this to be another sellout, especially with Fr. Leo Patalinghug as our featured speaker. It’s $30 per person if you register early (it goes up to $50 after January 20), so don’t wait!
CHRISTMAS CRAFT SALE
Plan to shop the annual Christmas Craft Sale in the parish hall December 3-4, following the Saturday 5pm Mass and the Sunday morning (7am, 9am, 11am) Masses only. The Women of the Cloth will have wonderful quilted and crafted items for sale.
