Your Finance Council is responsible for “keeping the lights on” at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church or in the summertime to keep the AC on! The most important part of the Finance Council’s duty is to be good stewards of the generous donations from BSC parishioners. We have accomplished so much but we know we can do more.
We recently published our first six months of financial information in the bulletin. Like many churches across the country, our costs and expenses have increased. At the same time, our donations have been decreasing over the past several years. We are asking you to prayerfully consider becoming a regular donor of BSC if you are not already. And if you are already a regular donor, please consider providing a cost-of-living adjustment in your donations.
Do you struggle with remembering your envelope each week? Faith Direct is the answer! It also provides other benefits as well…
Faith Direct is easy to set up, easy to use, and always accurate. Your support is deposited directly into the parish’s bank account to assure that no donation is lost or miscounted. Sign up here
Do you get paid twice a month? Every other week? Why not make your support of the parish coincide with the timing of your paychecks or other income? It is easy to do with Faith Direct.
Your tax receipt is automatically generated each year and can be viewed at any time throughout the year by logging into your Faith Direct account.
Your donations via Faith Direct will also help the parish with a more even donation flow. During the summer months, with parishioners on vacation our donations drop significantly, yet this is when our air conditioning bills are at their highest.
Please consider using Faith Direct today, and if you already use it, THANK YOU!
Kathy Bradley, a member of the Finance Council, would be glad to personally help anyone sign up for this invaluable service. Sign up Here

Don't Forget! Before the end of the year, if you need to take a required minimum distribution from your IRA, you can make a tax-free gift directly to Blessed Sacrament, if it is made directly from your IRA. Get more information below!
