Adopt-A-Family Giving Tree
Our St. Bridget of Kildare Parish Giving Tree is going up in the vestibule of church. As a reminder, this is NOT a St. Vincent de Paul activity, but a St. Bridget of Kildare Parish activity.
We are adopting 16 families with a total of 45 children this year. There are 315 cards on our tree. This is a huge undertaking for our parish, but we know the generosity of our parishioners and hope that this goal is attainable, especially in this time of need.
If you take a card from the tree, please return the wrapped item no later than Sunday, December 11th. The church is open during the day, so gifts could be left any day before the 11th.
You do not need to secure the card to the package with more than one piece of tape, as these cards are removed from the package and actual Christmas tags with the child’s name are added. Also, if you take a gas card or gift card request, (CONSIDER BUYING SCRIPT GIFT CARDS at CHURCH) please tape it to the original card. Do not wrap the gift cards, as all cards must be verified and are placed in envelopes for each family. The parishioners of St. Bridget of Kildare continue to be generous at this time of year, and we appreciate all that you do.
