The second collection this weekend is the monthly collection for maintenance and repairs. As a parish with seven buildings (two churches, two schools, two rectories and a convent), maintenance issues arise which may not be fully budgeted. Your contribution to this monthly collection helps keep the parish running. Thank you for your generosity!

St. Matthew & Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish is proud to present our third annual Christmas concert with parish musicians Alice Smyth and Danny Gray.

The concert with traditional Christmas carols and contemporary songs will take place on December 11th at 3 p.m. at St. Matthew Church.

Save the Dates! The parish will host an Advent Parish Mission December 18-20. The mission will be presented by Fr. Bill Garrott, O.P. More details to follow!

Toys, gifts and clothing will be collected for needy families being helped by the James Harmon Community Center in Hastings-on-Hudson. All items should be left in the boxes at the rear of the churches by December 15th.

Once again, socks and toiletries will be collected for the homeless. Donations of new socks for both men & women are needed, as well as personal-sized toiletries. The socks will be delivered to Midnight Run. Donations should be returned to your child’s Religious Ed class or to the boxes in the rear of the churches by December 18th.

Parishioners can again help brighten the holiday season for residents of the Little Sisters of the Poor Jeanne Jugan Residence in the Bronx. The parish has been provided a list of the residents and their preferred Christmas gift.

To participate, call Christine in the rectory (914-478-2822) to be given a person's name and their gift wish. Purchase the gift (new items only), wrap and label the gift with the person's name and return the wrapped gift to the rectory by December 15th.
