1. (12/5) Peace Light Ceremony
The Peace Light is coming to St. Tom's at Purdue. It is a continuous flame originating in the grotto of Jesus' birth in Bethlehem. It is shared person to person throughout the world with a message of peace and friendship. Come to the church at 7pm with a candle to participate in the ceremony!
2. (12/6)Theology on Tap
Our next Theology on Tap will be on December 6th, and the topic will be "The Joy and the Cross of a Pastor", presented by Fr. Anthony Rowland, Pastor of St. Mary Cathedral and St. Ann Church. We will meet at Harry's Chocolate Shop, from 7pm to 9pm.
3. (11/30, 12/7) Wednesday Night Mass
Bring a friend and join fellow students for Mass at 9pm every Wednesday. We hope you can make it! Chant choir will be singing for every fourth Wednesday of the month. Also, we will serve hot chocolate or ice cream after Mass!
4. (12/7) Hands and Feet Cookie Decorating
Help decorate cookies for those in need in our community and destress before final exams! Meet us in the Siena room downstairs on December 7th, any time between 7 and 9 pm, and spread some good cheer.
5. (12/1) BCW/BCM crossover event --- Healthy Relationships Talk
BCM & BCW invite all Boiler Catholics to join in our monthly discussion meetings this fall on the topic of healthy relationships with Susan Hoefer from the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana. The first Thursday of December, February, March and April, we will meet in Newman Hall at 8pm to learn more about ourselves, our relationships and how to relate to one another. Join us for at 8pm Thursday, Nov. 3) !
6. (12/8) Boiler Catholic Women
All ladies attending Purdue are invited to Room 4 at St. Tom's at 8PM every Thursday to foster strong relationships with other Catholic women and with God, to strive toward authentic femininity together, and to grow in faith!
7. (12/8) Boiler Catholic Men
All men attending Purdue, you're invited! Every Thursday at 8PM downstairs in the Siena Rooms, Men in any stage of faith come together for some healthy competition, community service, devoting time to the Bible, and much more
8. (12/8) SEEK 23 Final Meeting
Boiler Catholics attending SEEK23 are meeting one final time before their trip departure in January! We'll be discussing trip itenerary, what to pack, how to prepare, etc. The meeting will start at 6pm in the Siena Rooms
9. (12/2) Hawaiian Christmas Party
All are invited to the Hawaiian Christmas Party hosted by Boiler Catholics Socials! There will be food, Christmas Karaoke, cookie decorating, gingerbread house making, and more! Everyone is encouraged to where Hawaiian and/or Christmas themed clothes!
10. (12/2) Exalt -- Adoration/Praise and Worship
Everyone! Every Friday this semester at 8PM in the Church, we have an hour of adoration with praise and worship, quiet reflection, and spiritual talks. With snacks after!!!
11. (12/9) St. Tom's Christmas Sing along
St. Tom's Music Ministry is hosting a Christmas Sing-Along on December 9th at 6:30 PM in Newman Hall. Come sing your favorite Christmas tunes and enjoy some cookies, hot chocolate, and fellowship!
12. (12/3) Spanish Mass
Hispanic Catholics invites both student and residents' parishioners of St. Tom's in celebrating Spanish Mass on Saturday December 3rd at 5:30pm Mass. Come and join us in fellowship as we celebrate the Eucharist and our culture together.
13. (12/3) Las Posadas
Please join Hispanic Catholics to celebrate Las Posadas, a Mexican tradition commemorating Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem. It will be an evening full of singing, food, and lots of fun! The celebration will be in Newman Hall at 7:30pm. Everyone is welcome!

We have Sunday Night Dinner every Sunday for only $3 at 5:30PM in Newman Hall. Bring a friend! Eat, socialize, and have a grand ol' time
15. (12/4) CYA Silent Auction
Catholic Young Adults is doing its annual Silent Auction to fundraise money for this St. Toms-led organization! Come join us as we auction off various items throughout the weekend in the Gather Space after each mass (5:30 Vigil mass to 9:00PM Sunday mass in the first weekend of December)!
16. St. Dymphna Mental Health Resource Area Open!
Come visit the St. Dymphna Mental Health Resource Area right outside the Boiler Catholics Office. College is a stressful time for many people. At the mental health resource area we have puzzles and mindfulness activities for anyone to use! If you are struggling, do not hesitate to reach out to one of us officers or your friends. We are all here for you! You matter, never forget that. :)

Xavier High School is a co-ed Jesuit Catholic school founded in 1952 to support a sense of Micronesian unity and identity. We serve over 120 students from across the Micronesia region. Students receive financial aid to attend. Instruction is in English, which is a second language for many of our students. They are seeking teacher volunteers for Spring 2023 and future school years! 20. Looking for a Place to Study?
St. Toms was voted the #1 place to study by the Purdue Exponent. We have plenty of private classrooms if you want somewhere quite to study. You can also study in Newman hall and socialize with others!
21. Parking at St. Tom's
Students are not to park in the St. Tom’s designated spots during business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). A warning notification is issued twice, and three-peat offenders are towed at the owner’s expense.
22. The Doors off of State Street
For everyone's safety, the doors off of State Street will be locked at midnight from now on. If you would like to come to the church after that time, enter through the doors off of Marsteller Street or off of the parking lot! Thank you :))
