VIC RE-DEDICATION CEREMONY
And now for the big news!
It has been an honor to be able to work on the Victorian these past few months. Every tile that was replaced, every wall that was reinforced, every step and path that was repaired, and every piece of wood that was restored, held a secret of times past. All these repairs, in memory of our past Priests, Religious and Parishioners, and dedicated to future generations of Priests, Religious and Parishioners, were for me the metaphorical restoration of the physical Catholic Community of Irvington.
With the work now completed, our Parish will be holding a Re-Dedication Ceremony. We hope to host many of you, various local civic and religious leaders, and many of our non-Catholic neighbors, as well. We may be the Catholic Community of Irvington, but we are also proud to be a historic part of the Village of Irvington.
Please save the date of June 3, 2018. It will be a grand day. There are many more details to come!
In closing, each day I am reminded of how fortunate we all are to be a part of Immaculate Conception Church. I look forward to seeing you on Sunday, and I hope to see you at the Spring Fling on May 12th.
