How We See Creation
A Faith-Influenced Look at Science and Exploration Monday, April 23 | Lake House Hall How We See Creation is open to everyone who wants to learn more about the Catholic perspective on science. It will be of particular interest to teens considering the role of faith in selecting careers in science and engineering.
The multimedia presentation will cover a review of the intersection of faith and science. An overview of the exciting work being done by scientists and engineers (NASA/Jet Propulsion Laboratory) will illustrate how our environment works. There will be lots of pictures and, yes, videos of rockets blasting off!
Bring your family and friends of all faith traditions to get more in touch with what our Church is asking of us when it comes to caring for creation. Learn about what our space exploration agencies are doing to help.
Two Performances: Thurs., April 26 & Fri., April 27 | 8:00p St. Michael Worship Space - FREE! Did you know Fr. Dan is going to be starring in a play next week? In fact, he's the only member of the cast! Come check out the fascinating story of St. Damien of Molokai in a play based on his writings. Fr. Dan will be portraying Fr. Damien in what is sure to be an interesting and touching story told with one man and a handful of prop displays. It's sure to be unlike any other play you've seen before. If you want to learn about the life about this incredible saint in a unique way, see your pastor act, and have a fun evening with some friends or family, come check it out next Thursday or Friday!
**We are in need of two adults to join us on the trip this year in order for our group to be able to go to Work Camp. Please contact mhorvath@saint-mikes.org if available or interested.**
