The 1st Sunday of Advent begins the drive to fill backpacks for the homeless. Ron Pitre distributed backpacks at all the Masses last Sunday along with a shopping list of items to complete these ‘gifts’.
If you would like a backpack to fill, please contact Ron through www.backpacksforhomeless.ca or hit reply to this message.
Backpacks for the Homeless also accepts donations at the mentioned website or you can donate via St Faustina Parish by clicking on the Donate button at the end of this Flocknote; select Canada Helps, then from the drop down select Fund d) Backpacks for the Homeless.
Kindly return backpacks to the church by December 18th in order to be able to distribute them to those in need in time for Christmas. God Bless
People are invited again this year to add to our Christmas display by donating a poinsettia in memory of a loved one. The Poinsettia may be brought to the Church the weekend of December 17/18.
