Notice of Parishioner Deaths
Charlotte Osborne passed away and her funeral Mass will be at St. Francis on Friday, April 27th at 10:30 a.m.
Robert Selby passed away and his funeral Mass will be at St. Francis on Saturday, April 28th at 11:00 a.m.
Daily Mass attendees are encouraged to attend the funeral Masses on those days as the 9:00 a.m. daily Mass on Friday will be cancelled.
Please join us in praying for Charlotte and Robert and their families during their time of sorrow.
Elevate: Finale
Join us for the final Elevate event of the School year. "Relentless" is the theme that guided this year's ministry. God seeks us with a relentless love; a love that has no bounds. The God of the universe desires to share in our lives. Likewise, we are made with a relentless desire for his infinite presence in our lives--nothing else can satisfy us. In this final session, we will close out our time together with faith, fellowship and delicious food. Join us one last time before the summer season begins. See you there! Summit: How to Pray
We don't often think of prayer as a source of power, but it is. Not the kind of power the world around us covets, but a power that comes from God alone. In this study, we'll discover how to tap into the greatest power available to us, explore the secrets of prayer, and how to seek and listen to God’s voice in our lives. (Open to all students, grades 8-12)
Steubenville Conference: Revealed
July 20th-22nd in Steubenville, Ohio
We live in a world where there are voices shouting at us from all sides, trying to tell us who we are and who we aren’t, who we should be and who we shouldn’t be. If we pay too much attention to these voices, it won’t be long before we forget our true identity altogether.
But amidst all the noise is our loving Father, who wants to make Himself known to us and speak truth about who we are. God’s love is deeper and His plan for our lives is greater than anything the world has to offer – will we allow Him to reveal it to us?
This summer, over 50,000 Catholic teens across North America will participate in 25 Steubenville Youth Conferences, and we want you to be one of them! Come experience the love of God in a new and more profound way. He has so much in store for you.

Blest Week Ever: July 15-19th
(Open to students entering 9th grade through Graduating seniors)
Blest Week Ever is a five day urban service retreat that allows students to get involved with local service organizations and groups to help those in need in Licking County. Possible work sites include Churches, Schools, Summer Camp programs, Food pantries, and more. Students will serve the community during the day and will return to Saints Peter and Paul retreat center fellowship.Contact Ed Watson for more information--hurry, space is limited! Here at St. Francis we are trying to make it possible for our parents of young families to enjoy Mass and attend our new discipleship offerings. In order to do this we need volunteers to help with Child Care, not just for our Mass at 10:45, but for things like Walking With Purpose, Beloved and Alpha. This semiannual Clothing Drive is scheduled just in time for Spring cleaning! Check those cabinets and closets in your home for any gear you no longer need. Clothing and household items are welcome and will greatly benefit those who are in need.
Donations will be collected in the school parking lot next to the Slattery Hall. VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TO HELP EACH DAY! If you can assist with this effort, contact Sandi Nielsen at 740-814-1439. THANK YOU!
Our own Bryant Haren will be ordained a Transitional Deacon by Bishop Campbell, on May 4, 2018.

Shroud of Turin Exhibit
It is an exact replica of the Shroud of Turin. On loan from the National Shrine of St. Maximilian Kolbe at Marytown, Illinois, the exhibit travels throughout the country. The exhibit presents the results of a comprehensive scientific, historical and forensic study with 92 panels of photographs and illustrations. The exhibit is the work of the Center for the Study of the Passion of Christ and the Holy Shroud. Monsignor Giulio Ricci and other scientist spent more than 25 years researching the Holy Shroud. The centerpiece of the exhibit is a full length replica of the Holy Shroud. The replica shows the front and back of the shroud. In addition, the mobile exhibit contains a large (almost life sized) crucified corpus showing the wounds of Christ corresponding to the passion narrative in the Gospel accounts and the wounds shown on the Shroud. The exhibit contains 92 panel detailing the history and science of the shroud. It is truly non-denominational, unbiased and free to the public. St Francis has the honor to host the exhibit April 27th through May 2nd, 2018Hours are as follows:
