Bishop Hying's Visit

We were so fortunate to welcome Bishop Hying to Saint Francis Xavier School on Tuesday. He presided at our school Mass and then visited our 4K through 4th grade classrooms. He will be back soon to visit our middle school students.

Our students asked great questions. Bishop Hying was very impressed by our students and our teachers. He even talked about his experiences at our school in his mission talk later that night.

St. Francis Xavier Feast Day Celebration

We'll be celebrating our Patron Saint's Feast Day at school tomorrow. Students are encouraged to wear spirit wear and will enjoy treats, while hearing a special presentation on the Church in India from our special guest, Fr. Kumud.

Thank you all for your generous support! We are thrilled to report that our students sold $157,000 in gift cards which equates to over $10,000 in profit!

Early bird winners spun the wheel for prizes earlier this week and all students will get to cash in on an in-school snow in January or February.

The Glorious Christmas Season is fast approaching! Students in 2nd – 8th are invited to sing for the 4:30pm Christmas Eve Mass on December 24th. Practices will be held Monday, December 12th and Tuesday, December 20th in the church, from 6:30 – 8:00pm. Email Josephine.Cowen@sfxcrossplains.org to sign up.

Your child does not have to participate in our year-round youth choir in order to sing for Christmas.
