Amy Butler' 80 welcomes Michael Griffin '84 and his mother Marilyn Griffin. Michael and Vicki Griffin '84 accepted the Young Alumni Award for their daughter Meggie Griffin '15 who is studying abroad in Ireland.

Although the most publicized event for Elyria Catholic’s Academic Team airs on television tomorrow night, the team has been both preparing and practicing since last September.
Anywhere from twelve to fifteen students make up the core team that consistently practices and competes. Students are divided into two groups of four teams each, allowing for one junior varsity team and one varsity team. However, the term “varsity” is used loosely as EC’s team is relatively young. Thank you to everyone who helped prepare for, sponsored, worked, attended or made a donation to the 2018 Elyria Catholic Forward Gala, A Night Under the Lights. Due to the generosity of many sponsors, benefactors, donors and attendees, we are excited to report that we raised over $113,000 in sponsorships, donations, the live and silent auction and various raffles. After expenses, over $78,000 is available for scholarship assistance and equipment for our new Creator Space. It was a beautiful and amazing evening that brought many members of our community together to celebrate Elyria Catholic. We look forward to continuing our work together to Move Elyria Catholic Forward!
Reminder: Senior Student/Parent Meeting will be held on Wednesday evening, May 2, 2018 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Auditorium.

News from Counseling Department
Seniors, it is required that all seniors submit all scholarships and grants to the counselors. If a student did not receive any scholarships or grants then the student must indicate it on a form that will be given to them in Religion class on Wednesday, May 2nd. All scholarship information is due by Monday, May 7th. If a student does not submit any scholarship information or the form stating that they did not receive any scholarships, their diploma will be withheld at graduation.
