Friends,
Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday yesterday! 37 years happens to be an important year in terms of American demographics ... at least according to data from 2014.
According to census data from that year 37 is the year where half of the US population is older than you and half the population is younger than you. So, as the baby bear would say in Goldilocks, I'm "just right."
Our annual report for the fiscal year 2021-2022 is here and it's something you should definitely check out. The annual report gives a comprehensive summary of the financial health of the parish as well an overview of the parish "by numbers."
Here are several highlights from the report:
-12% increase in offertory contributions from last year
-22 recurring gifts being made online
-Holy Family continues to invest in evangelization by partnering with the Evangelical Catholic
-We hired a youth minister
-We've received increase giving to pay for necessary capital improvements
You can check it all out in the attached document.
My hope is that the report is something that you can feel proud of by seeing what you're accomplishing here at the parish, and be filled with gratitude for all the blessings God is bestowing upon us here at Holy Family.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU(!) for the witness you are giving to the living God in Sanilac County!
AMDG,
Fr. Stephen
