Hi and Happy Advent! It's that time of year when I wish there were a couple more of me to get all the extra stuff done! Ugh! However, if there were more of me then I wouldn't get to be present for all the fun stuff! I often feel like I am the only one who views the holidays as more work...which doesn't always add to my joy! So my question to myself is: How do I fix that? This year I am going to try to be more present no matter what I am doing. To put my phone away and turn off the TV so I am not distracted by anything while I am with people! I will try to be more intentional at home and work making sure I keep work and home separate. I often try to do some kind of blended home/work thing that always ends up lopsided because I am always available via texts and email. My hope is to make the people in my life feel important-no matter how much of a hurry I am in or what else I have going on and to enjoy them in the moments I do get. It is tricky when there is so much to do! There cannot be anything more important than the moment I am in, so wish me luck and say a prayer or two that I can accomplish my goal at least part of the time because the moments are quickly adding up to my life and I want to be present for it! My hope is that you too will take the time to consider ways to help you be more present in each moment as those moments add up to your life!
We have a lot of fun things happening over the next two weeks so please keep reading for all the latest Blessed Sacrament fun for you and your family!
