The Immaculate Conception is Mary’s conception and is a Holy Day of Obligation.
Mary’s conception is immaculate because she was conceived without original sin. The angel Gabriel acknowledges this when he hails Mary as “full of grace” (Luke 1:28).
Father Mark will celebrate the following Masses for the Solemnity:
Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 6:30pm - Spanish Vigil Mass
Thursday, Dec. 8 at 12:15pm - English Mass
Thursday, Dec. 8 at 6:30pm - All-Community Mass
Father Mark will lead the Act of Consecration at both the 12:15pm and 6:30pm Masses on Dec. 8 for anyone who has prepared for this consecration.
