The Shroud of Turin St. Francis will be hosting an exhibit on the Shroud of Turin, the burial cloth of Christ. An actual-sized replica (about 15x4) will be on display during a 60-minute visual presentation of the most complete and comprehensive scientific document on the Shroud. The presentation will be on April 28th (tomorrow!) at 1pm in the church. All are welcomed to come and learn more!
Parish Clean Up Day We are looking for volunteers to help spread mulch and help with other outside cleanup items on Saturday, May 12th from 9am-1pm with pizza provided for lunch! If you are able to help, please sign up in the Narthex or contact Steve Watkins or Lenny Baierwalter in the parish office. If you have them, please bring shovels and wheelbarrows to help speed up the spreading!
Pursuing Jesus and Forming Disciples Thank you to everyone who returned their card for the "Pursuing Jesus and Forming Disciples" campaign! Your response was overwhelming and we are very grateful for your generosity and willingness to continue your support for our mission at St. Francis. We had a 57% response rate (the average is 30%) and a commitment for increased giving of an additional $137,322 per year! We cannot thank you enough for your support of this program and we pray that God continues to shower you and your families with abundant blessings!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Thoughts for the Weekend:
Spring has finally come around! Look at the bright blue skies, the flowers in bloom with the proper conditions, the children at nearby schools finally able to run around outside on the playgrounds...
It's absolutely, truly wonderful as God provides us beautiful blessings.
What is God doing in you to change you and help you become the best, most beautiful version of yourself? Is He teaching you something? What are His blessings for you at the moment?
Remember to thank God for all that He provides and never lose your awe from the beauty He brings.
The staff of St. Francis would like to wish you and your families a blessed and happy Easter Season!
