Perspectives on Suffering - Wednesdays 7:00 - 8:15 PM via Zoom.
Suffering is a mystery we all face at some time in our lives. Whether it is physical, emotional, or spiritual, it may test our faith. Together, we listen to 4 podcasts and discuss the content regarding the reality of suffering and how to make sense of it.
Lectio: Mary - Thursdays 2:30 - 3:45 PM Parish Center
Why is Mary so important to Catholics, and why have so many people been devoted to her over the centuries? We examine what the Old and New Testaments, the life of Christ, and the early Church fathers reveal about the life and identity of Mary.
Hebrews: The New and Eternal Covenant - Thursdays 7:30 - 9:00 PM Parish Ctr.
Embark on a guided tour of the “Holy of Holies” of biblical theology. The book of Hebrews is like a little Catechism. It is steeped in rich truths that are foundational to our Catholic Faith, but its highly refined theological concepts can be difficult for even the most seasoned Bible scholars to unpack.
Psalms: The School of Prayer - Wednesdays 9:45 - 11:45 AM via Zoom.
The Holy Spirit inspired them. Israel sang them. Christ himself prayed them, as did our Blessed Mother. At the heart of the Bible are the Psalms, prayers from God that help us to pray. In the Psalms: The School of Prayer, discover how these sacred hymns become our heartfelt response to God’s loving and wondrous deeds for us.
