Prayer Shawl Ministry

Please join us! This ministry is open to any person interested in knitting or crocheting prayer shawls, lap robes, or afghans for the sick and suffering.
The ministry also makes hats and mittens for the Giving Tree at Christmas. If you would like to participate but can’t make the monthly meetings, please contact Carol Mulcahy at cmmulcahy@live.com or 508-898-0409 for more information about patterns and yarn.
We would love to have new members since there are many requests for the handmade items. Yarn is available at the Parish Center.

Adult Confirmation
The 2023 Adult Confirmation Celebration will be held on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 3pm at the Cathedral of St. Paul. This ceremony is for baptized, already catechized Roman Catholic adults—18 years old and older—who have not previously been confirmed. Registration deadline for confirmation is Feb. 3.
An adult confirmation retreat is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 5 at 2 pm at Our Lady of Hope Parish, North Grafton. This is an optional retreat which invites the candidates to reflect prayerfully on their experience as people of faith and the meaning of the sacrament of confirmation. Pro-Life Mass
All are invited to attend the annual Mass for Life on Thursday, Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Paul, 38 High St., Worcester. Fr. Richard Reidy will be the celebrant. Please join us to pray for and with our pilgrims who will be travelling to Washington, DC for the annual March for Life on Jan. 20, and to pray for an end to abortion and the conversion of our nation. All are welcome!
