Marriage Preparation
Are you engaged to be married? If so, participation in a marriage preparation program is expected. You can register for these classes at: adw.org/living-the-faith/marriage-family/ marriage-preparation/ Sessions at St. Elizabeth’s are held in January and July.
Children’s Liturgy Of The Word
Children's Liturgy of the Word is offered at the 9am and 10:30 am masses. All children ages 5-10 are welcome to join. During these masses, there will be no sound in the Commons. Worshippers are asked to move into the church.

Seven Sisters Prayer for St. E’s Priests for January
O my Jesus, I beg You on behalf of the whole Church: Grant it love and light of Your Spirit, and give power to the words of priests so hardened hearts may be brought to repentance and return to You, O Lord. Lord, give us holy priests; you yourself maintain them in holiness. O Divine and Great High Priest, may the power of Your mercy accompany them everywhere and protect them from the devil’s traps and snares which are continually being set for the souls of priests. May the power of Your mercy, O Lord, shatter and bring to naught all that might tarnish the sanctity of priests, for You can do all things.
Faith Through Film
Our next Faith through Film showing is Friday, January 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Commons. The movie is Just Mercy (2019), starring Michael B. Jordan in a true-life story of a young attorney defending a death row inmate wrongly accused of murdering a young woman, a story that was featured on 60 Minutes. Just Mercy is 2 hours and 17 min long, is in English, and is rated PG-13 for thematic elements and language (including racial epithets). After the movie there will be a 30-minute discussion. If you’re willing and able, please bring snacks to share! All are welcome! Mass for Life with Fr. Fields January 20
Before the National March for Life on Friday, January 20, in Washington, DC, join Fr. Fields as he offers a Mass for Life at 11:30 AM at St. Mary Mother of God Parish (5th & H Streets, NW). The Mass is organized by the Ancient Order of Hibernians. After the Mass, pilgrims may gather along the march route on Constitution Avenue to join the March for Life.
