COR Council of Catholic Women will collect new crew socks for the homeless from January 14-22. Socks should be new, moisture wicking, and odor resistant for maximum protection for repeated wear. More men's sizes are needed than women's or children's. Socks will be distributed by Catholic Charities of NWFL. Thank you for your generosity towards those in need!
Join your parish family for a pancake breakfast this Sunday, January 15 after both Masses. This is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, and free for everyone to attend, though donations will be accepted, with all proceeds going to local charities.
Priscilla Circle will also be hosting a bake sale during the breakfast.
Monday, January 23, is World Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of the Unborn. Christ Our Redeemer will hold a Holy Hour for Life on Monday, January 23 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Join us for this special hour of Adoration.
The weekend of January 21st and 22nd, the Parish Council will host the first of 4 mini-ministry fairs in the Narthex. This month will feature liturgical ministries: lectors, altar servers, sacristans, ushers, and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. Stop by on your way out of Mass and learn about these ministries that are so vital to our celebration of the Mass.
Mark your calendar for January 29th! The 42nd annual Liturgical Celebration Commemorating Black History Month will be celebrated at Christ Our Redeemer at 2pm. The event will start with a concert by the Eglin Brotherhood Gospel Choir, and Mass will begin around 2:30.
