Youth Ministry
The registration deadline has been extended until January 25th for DCYC (Dallas Catholic Youth Conference). This experience is recommended for all high schoolers as a way to enrich their faith journey. They will spend 2 1/2 days (Feb. 17-19) immersed in great worship, music, workshops, adoration, entertainment and more, as well as meet other Catholic youth from throughout the Diocese. The cost is $179 which covers the hotel, meals and conference registration. For more information, please contact Kristine Kurrasch, Youth Director.

Wacky Waffle Sunday - January 29, 2023
Join us for this CFF fundraiser where, for a suggested donation of $5.00,
you can enjoy two waffles (plenty of toppings to choose from),
a sausage patty, and drink (juice or coffee).
Plates will be served from 8:00 AM until they are gone. Funds will be used to purchase new high chairs for the parish kitchen/dining room.
And while you are here, be sure to check out the displays set up for Catholic Schools Week! Representatives from several Catholic schools in the Diocese will be present to answer questions.
Service Project Opportunity: If you would like to help serve or clean-up during Wacky Waffle Sunday, please contact Deborah Pearson. Two shifts of workers are needed, from 8:00 - 10:30 AM and 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM.

Galatians: Set Free to Live speaks of the extraordinary gift of salvation Jesus has won for us and explains how we can unite ourselves to Christ’s redeeming sacrifice through faith and love. Presenter Jeff Cavins explains how Christ fulfilled the Law and set us free to live in the Spirit.

Diocesan News
The Synod Preparatory Commission is also sponsoring an educational Speaker Series on the University of Dallas campus. The program will begin with discussion of the synod process in general, progress through the history of synodality and how the process functions in our modern Church, and then end with a session applying this information specifically to our ongoing Diocesan Synod.
The series begins on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, and will include a total of 7 sessions on various Tuesday evenings through May 2, 2023. For specific topics, dates, and location, visit the Synod website.
