We are ALL part of God’s plan from conception to death. More than 2,000 years of Catholic social teaching supports this foundational belief.
And during the month of January, many activities seek to heighten awareness in protecting those rights to God's life plan for our most vulnerable -- the unborn.
Pray. Worship. Learn. Serve. Act. Below are some ways, including our CST 101 session tomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 19) at 7:00 p.m. in Newman Hall.
LEARN AND SERVE
- CST 10: Life & Dignity of the Human Person (The Unborn)
“How can we provide women with the support needed to choose life?” …
Join the conversation and solution by attending our Catholic Social Teaching session, “Life & Dignity of the Human Person,” THIS THURSDAY, Jan. 19 (tomorrow) at 7:00 p.m. downstairs in Newman Hall. Speakers from Bravely Women’s Health (Evelyn Hoefer, volunteer coordinator), Gifts of Grace Adoption Center (Rachael Rush, adoption program coordinator), and Boilermakers for Life (Evy Spieth, vice president) will share how their organizations are part of the answer to this question. Attendees can also assist with assembling special "gift bags" for expecting mothers during this session and learn how they can get involved and support these community organizations.
