DSF 2022 Goal Update
We are immensely grateful for your generosity to the 2022 DSF. Our parish went above and beyond to support this endeavor and raised well over our goal. The fantastic news is that the overage does go back to benefit our parish. Thank you for being an active part of our parish.

Spiritan Celebration
This year the Spiritans are celebrating the 150th anniversary of the founding of the original province of the United States. We are inviting you and your parishioners to a multicultural “Munch and Meet” evening of song, food and music at the Cathedral Centre, February 9, 2023, 6-9pm to mark that anniversary.
Altar Society Bake Sale
On February 11th-12th, after the Saturday 5:30PM Mass & the Sunday morning Masses in the PLC, there will be an Altar Society Bake Sale! Write this special date down and stop by to say hello and get a treat. If you'd like to contribute or donate baked goods, we welcome those as early as 3:45PM on Saturday, February 11th in the PLC. The funds go to the maintenance & purchasing of liturgical items when needed: altar linens, candles, & vestments.
Stitches of Peace
Our next meeting will be held on January 21st from 9:30AM-1:00PM in the Annex. We invite and welcome you to join us in sewing items for others. No background experience is needed, we can teach you!
Knights of Columbus Free Throw Competition
It is time for the annual Knights of Columbus Council 14512 free throw competition.
NO COST TO COMPETE.
When: January 28, 2023 (Saturday)
Where: St Edward Gym
Who: Boys and Girls 9-14 (age as of Jan 1st)
Copy of Birth Certificate required.
Time: Registration at 8:30 a.m. with council competition at 9AM
Please note council winners will compete for District level at 11:00AM.
Additional notes:
Ages 9, 10, 11 (Boys & Girls Competitions)- women’s regulation size basketball and 12ft foul line
Ages 12, 13, 14 (Girls Competitions)- women’s regulation size basketball and regulation15ft line

Evangelization & Catechesis
Women’s Retreat
Our Women’s Retreat focuses on helping women deepen their relationship with Jesus while strengthening their bonds with one another and their parish community. The weekend provides talks, small group discussion, times for prayer and reflection, confession and Sunday Mass, plus meals. It is an overnight stay at St. Edward and it costs $40. Commuters are welcome and financial support is available.

Theology of the Body

Children’s Liturgy of the Word
This Sunday, January 22nd, during the 9:30 am Mass, children who are in Kinder-3rd grade are encouraged to participate in this ministry. Children are dismissed before the 1st Reading and are led to the chapel. They listen to the readings and ministry leaders help break open the Word at their level. Parents are always welcome to attend with their children. This ministry takes place at the 9:30 am Mass every 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month.
Parish Mission - Save the Date
Bishop Cahill will be leading our Lenten Parish Mission 2023. Dive into the themes of Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving through a different perspective and allow it to transform your Lent and your life!
Starting with the weekend Masses of March 4th-5th and hosting sessions in the morning and evening of March 6th, 7th, and 8th.

Floor Renovation Update
Beginning February 1st, we will have a contractor in the church’s narthex replacing the carpet with tile. They will begin with one half of the narthex and then work on the other half. Please be patient with the disruption and the mess. We will have more details to share as we learn what we will need to adjust.
