One of the most popular pilgrimage destinations in the world today is Medjugorje, a small village in Bosnia-Herzegovina where six children claimed to begin seeing the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1981. Over the last forty-one years, countless people have experienced healing, conversion, and a rediscovery of their faith through pilgrimages to Medjugorje. As many of you know, I have a strong, personal devotion to the Queen of Peace – as Mary calls herself at Medjugorje – and the eleven pilgrimages I have made there have had a profound and lasting impact on my spiritual life and my relationship with God.
As I announced in October, I will be making my twelveth pilgrimage to Medjugorje this April with parishioners from both Sacred Heart and St. Patrick. We will be hosted in the home of one of the six visionaries, Mirjana Soldo. During our stay, Mirjana will share her testimony, and there will be an opportunity for questions and answers.
It is not too late to join us on our pilgrimage - there are 7 spots remaining. Please don’t miss out on this very special opportunity to have this life-changing experience. The pilgrimage will take place from April 17 to April 24 and is open to any parishioner from Sacred Heart or St. Patrick’s.
If you believe you are being called to come, please contact Val Wojnicki at 845-496-5708 or via email at marypilgrimage@gmail.com Val will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
I look forward to traveling with you to this very special place, and to receiving together all the graces that God has in store for us to receive through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. God bless you!
