Hello to all! Sorry for the lack of communication as of late. We finally had a "normal" week this week and got us back on the learning train! BUT, next week is Catholic Schools Week and we will have an activity every day to help us celebrate as well as dress up days! A list of dress up days and activities has been sent home with your child today. We have also created crowns at school, so if they can't find something to wear they can wear their crown at school! Sunday is our kickoff mass at 9:00. (Kids can sit with their families). Then everyone is welcome to the gym after mass for a brunch.
Educationally, we are working on initial and final digraphs...sh, th, ch, base words and -s, -es, -ed, and -ing, proper nouns as well as words ending with ch/tch. We continue to learn subtraction strategies in math. We try to do one review daily on addition or subtraction. Please keep working on basic facts at home. The better they know addition and subtraction facts, the easier multiplication and division in third grade will be.
Everyone have a great weekend and hope to see you all on Sunday at mass and the brunch!
