CTK's Knights of Columbus Council 16700 will host a blood drive on June 9 in Charity Hall from 7:00am - 1:00pm. Knights will be at the entrances of the church this weekend, May 19-20, to schedule you in. One blood donation saves 3 lives. Please plan to donate.
Clean Out Your Closets, Basement and Garage This Weekend!
Christ the King's parish garage sale May 31—June 2. All proceeds will go towards renovation. We do not have any storage for any items at this time. We will not accept the following: artificial Christmas trees, garden hoses, gas cans, household paint, luggage, microwave ovens, tires, tube-type televisions. One bag of clothes per donor. All donations should be clean and in good working condition. Garage-salers: please price your items if you would like to. Drop off times are: Sun, May 27: 6pm—9pm; Mon, May 28: 9am—5pm, Tues, May 29: 9am—5pm, and Wed, May 30: 9am—5pm. Garage Sale Hours will be: Thursday, May 31: 7am—7pm, Friday, June 1st: 7am—5pm, and Saturday, June 2nd: 8am—2pm. Please consider helping out this year either by donating items, donating food for the workers or volunteering your time to work. 5th through 8th grade students were recognized Tuesday with a Pizza Party in thanksgiving for their dedication of serving at Mass throughout the year.
Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten Story Time
What are those flying around outside the library? Come and enjoy a story time, about bubbles, offered by the Christ the King Library. This story time will be on Wednesday, May 23rd from 3:00-3:30 pm. There will be a bubble book, bubble song, and then we will head outside to create bubbles with an assortment of wands. There will even be a take-home activity. Go to the school office and sign in, ask the office to buzz you in to the north building, and come up to the library for some bubble “fun”. This will be the last story for this school year. CTK's Knights of Columbus men, Chris Nichols, Ted Neises and his brother Todd,, Larry Winter, and Chase Manuel, helped Habitat for Humanity last weekend by working with drywall. Yes, they used a leaf blower to clean themselves off. lol!
