Effective immediately, St. Benilde is switching to AdorationPro, an online scheduling program, for our Divine Mercy Adoration Chapel. Through this secure online platform, parishioners and guests can more easily sign up to become a committed adorer or a substitute, cancel/change their weekly holy hour, or request a substitute. Below are just some of the benefits to this change:
Adorers Self-Register
Through AdorationPro, we can more easily publish the sign-up webpage address in our weekly bulletin, post it on the website, send out an email through our Flocknote system, promote it on social media, etc. This helps make our Adoration Chapel accessible to more parishioners.
Current and new Adorers can see the available hours and self-register by themselves. After signing up they will automatically receive reminder emails or text messages (depending on user preferences) each week. The system also allows administrators to easily send updates regarding holiday and emergency closures.
Automatic Reminders
Once someone signs up to become a committed adorer, they will automatically receive a weekly reminder 24 hours before their assigned hour through text or email, depending on their set notification preferences.
No Usernames or Complicated Log-in Procedures
This system has been specifically designed to accommodate those uncomfortable with using computers or digital devices, while still bringing all of the advantages of the system to our parish Adoration program. Adorers do not need an individual PIN, username, password, or to download any software/app to use and access AdorationPro.
When you arrive at the Chapel (if you are already an assigned adorer), your name will automatically be on an iPad screen and all you have to do is click it and you’re done. Visitors can also check-in on the same screen and be offered the chance to become a sub or permanent Adorer if they wish.
Automatically Find a Sub System
Finding subs is now easier than ever! Simply click the green button below or visit https://adorationpro.org/stbenilde and click the “Find a Sub” button, type the password “subpass,” and click the button “Auto Sub Request.” This will automatically send an email or text (depending on user preferences) to a list of substitutes. However, if you prefer to contact people on your own, you still have the ability to do that by choosing “Manually Find a Sub from a List.”
Frequently Asked Questions about the New
Scheduling System:
Will this change anything? The only real difference that will occur will be the sign-in process. We are working to set up a kiosk that members can use to check in. This will greatly assist us in tracking adoration attendance, ensuring that our Eucharistic Lord isn't left unattended. Visitors will also be able to sign in electronically and submit prayer intentions. You can find a video explaining the sign-in process HERE.
I’m already a Committed Adorer, but my name isn’t showing up on the current schedule. If you are a committed adorer but do not see your name on the current schedule it is because we did not have the contact information (email and phone number) needed to add you to the system. You can resolve the issue by adding yourself. Simply click the gold button entitled “Weekly Commitment” and sign up for your preferred hour.
Is my information secure? Yes! The contact information you provide is only viewable to Adoration Chapel admins and will not be used for any other purposes.
I'm signed up for an hour that I can no longer commit to: If you can no longer commit to your signed up holy hour, please contact Audrey Huck at ahuck@arch-no.org so you can be taken off the schedule.
Can I sign up for an hour that already has a committed adorer? Yes! We would love to have partners for each hour, ensuring Jesus is always attended in the event of emergencies or vacations.
Who can I contact if I have questions/want more information? Our goal in making this change is to make our Divine Mercy Adoration Chapel as accessible as possible so that we continue to share this incredible gift with others. For any questions regarding this transition, you can contact our Director of Pastoral Initiatives Audrey Huck at ahuck@arch-no.org.
